Good Morning Lovelies!

Today I thought I would write a small post on why I created this blog, and familiarize myself with onlooking readers and bloggers.

Being a teenage girl still in high school and college,(my school offers dual enrollment)sometimes it can difficult to find time to do something that makes me happy, and just gives me time to not only practice my writing skills, but also gives me some time to relax and think about nothing but blogging. This blog is a way for me to free-write about whatever I like, and I LOVE that. Soo……now that I have bored you guys with my back story, onto a little bit about myself.

I found this idea on a blog whose URL is writemeg.com. I absolutely LOVE her blog, and thought it might be a good idea for this to be one of  my starting posts.

I am a…..Inquirer

I am one to ask questions about anything! I really love to gain more knowledge in any way I can, and when you’re confused about something, asking questions is the best way to understand something better! I think it can get a bit annoying sometimes, so I try to keep my thought-provoking questions to a minimum.

I am a……A Music Lover

I don’t think anyone isn’t! Everyone has a type of music that they really like. Music is one of the most influential things in my life as of right now, and it has become a very large part of my life. I’m not sure if what I listen to is alternative or coffee house music or pop, but some artists I like include Ingrid Michelson, Jack Johnson, The Wallflowers. I also am obsessed with Broadway Musicals! I essentially have never been to one, but I’ve probably watched over hundred on my computer. A few of my favorites are the classics Les Miserables, Wicked, and The Newsies. It’s amazing how breaking out into song can evoke so much emotion in a person. That’s what amazes me about the experience, is that no matter the age you are, you can appreciate a good musical.

I am a……Sloucher

I love to be comfy and just sit some days and do nothing. My perfect day includes sleeping in while it rains, then waking up and having a warm drink, then just looking at blogs, listening to music, and hanging out all day. Rainy days are such beautiful days to do nothing, I LOVE them.

I am a……..Baker

I really really LOVE to make sweets! It never turns out quite as well as I hoped it would be, but I always eat it anyway! Cupcakes, cookies, fruit tarts, and other odd recipes galore! My baking style is very different. I cannot cook on my own, such as making my own recipes, or even switching or adding to one I’m using. I love to take a recipe, whether family grown or found through the internet, and recreate it for myself. I’m currently working on trying to improve my baking skills by slightly substituting, adding, or deleting ingredients from recipes I’ve already tried. This way I can see what ingredients I would prefer less or more of.

I am a……..Extremely Late Person/Procrastinator

I have a really bad habit of being late no matter the task. Whether I’m meeting someone for lunch, or doing an important project for school. I always wait till the last minute to do something. It is such a bad habit that I’ve been working very hard to eliminate from my life, but it’s difficult as I’m sure some of you know.

I am a……..Photographer

I LOVE photography. Although it may not be my expertise, I still love to try new techniques and learn new things. I don’t have what other photographs may call a “big girl” camera, but I have a camera. As the old saying goes, the best can do the most with the least! I have a friend who is by far, more talented than I am at photography, and she was the one who initially introduced me to it. Living in the mountains, there are so many opportunities for great photos. On any given day, the mountains across my yard always have something to offer. With the mountains, whose silhouettes are carved beautifully by a mass of trees, come the woods. The woods give an extra something to living in a small town. It’s almost as if it makes having nothing to do entertainment wise, well worth it.

I am a…..Christmas Fanatic

Christmas is without a doubt my favorite time of the year. It always passes way to fast, so my Christmas season begins in late October, sometimes earlier depending on the year. My parents have never really been the decorating time, but I absolutely adore all the Christmas lights, the music, the tree, the giving, the feeling, the food, and everything else included in the Christmas package (no pun intended 😀 ).
